Dubai Watch Week 2023: Doxa’s new SUB 300β Seddiqi Edition 2023 debuts in a mother-of-pearl dial

The newly introduced timepiece commemorates partnership between Doxa and Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons
The freshly unveiled SUB 300β Seddiqi Edition 2023 (Ref. 830.10.211.10-SE4) follows the design codes of the SUB 300β launched in Geneva last September and comes in a contemporary look with a slimmer profile, and lower bezel height. A limited edition of only 50 pieces, the novelty celebrates the association between the brand and its partner in the Middle East, Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons; the timepiece also marks the debut of the natural mother-of-pearl dial in the Doxa’s SUB line.

The SUB 300β Seddiqi Edition 2023 is a 42.5mm timepiece with a case made from a solid block of 316L stainless steel and topped with a flat sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating - it's water resistance is 300 metres. The watch is incorporated with a DOXA-patented unidirectional rotating bezel with a blue ceramic insert and engraved white indications on the outer ring for measuring depth in metres to calculate no-decompression dives. The black indications on the inner rings tell time in minutes respectively. Also, there is a Super LumiNova filled dot at 12 o’clock on the bezel. The dial is deep sea blue in natural mother-of-pearl, it is unique in each piece. Further there is a date window positioned at 3 o’clock and the Super LumiNova coated hands and hour markers.
Powering the timepiece is a Swiss mechanical automatic movement beating at a frequency of 4Hz and offering a power reserve of about 38 hours. The brand’s signature ‘Beads of Rice’ bracelet in stainless steel complements the watch. Additionally, a white FKM rubber strap is also offered with the watch; both the watch straps have a folding clasp with an adjustable wetsuit extension.
